I have been reminded!

Here I am...3:00 am, can't sleep. Por que? I hurt sooo bad...I am reminded of why I am going to have a hysterectomy.
I started my period at 2:00 and had the whole house awake searching for the heating pad as I sit on the floor and cry like a baby. I lay there and cry some more and tell my husband, " If I don't have the surgery, I will live like this the rest of my life."
I had hope, that this being my first period since my lapro, that it would be less painful ( my doctor removed what he could ).
No such luck.
I've been walking on this fence of mine since the lapro and was wondering if it is worth it...to have the surgery...once again,
and I am reminded I DO have to have this done.

So now I go from the introduction message boards to the pre op boards.
I will have my surgery, a full hystersctomy on March 2. We sceduled it so far off because my husband and I are taking the kids to Disney World!...I will ever be sooo lucky to experience my LAST period there! (Think the doc will give me something better than anaprox to survive and not make la familia miserable?)

oh, can anyone tell me about bladder suspension?

Love to all

Machita

I have been reminded!

Thats only 39 days away (Feb being a short month) going to D world will help make the time fly.

Ask your Dr for stronger painkillers for ths one time, it won't hurt to ask and hopefully your Dr will understand.

I also found that everytime I had something done to 'help the pain' it just made everything worse.

I can't help you with questions on the bladder suspention, but I know there are sisters here how can.

I just wanted to give you some encouraging words to help you get through the next 30 odd days.
