New to site and wondering.....

Hey ladies. Just wondering how having a LAVH/BSO will affect my vagina? I have read a few things on this site. Bit I guess I want to know if sex will maybe feel different to myself or DH. I am really starting to get nervous. I worry about HRT also. I have been on Lupron injections for the last 6 mo. and even they did not stop my bleeding. I have not had Lupron for 5 weeks now. And I still have 2 weeks before surgery. I hope things don't get any worse. Please help!

I don't know much about TVH but I had a TAH/BSO so I did have my cervix out so I have a vaginal cuff and for me nothing is different about sex or anything for that matter, except no pain, and no periods!

HRT isn't that bad! I started on Climara had to start premarin 5 days later (I was allergic to the adhesive on the patch) I added ortho est to the premarin for hot flashes, and then I was taken off of the premarin and ortho est and changed to estratest about 3 months ago because I needed to ad a bit of testosterone to the mix! I feel pretty good still tweaking a bit! I was stubborn and thought the hot flashes and things were normal, so I didn't call the doc and suffered to long so I would have probably been ok with the HRT by now if I had called them sooner!
