coughed, much piercing pain now when turn or cough, 7 weeks, help !!
Please help, I do have a drs appt later today but I am really scared.
My lower right side has been aching and I was going to tell him about that, if I bent down too many times it would ache more. Than I developed a cold/allergies....then I coughed one night and developed horrifying, piercing pain.....it went away after the cough but that was 2 days ago and now when I turn I have to hold my right side and when I cough or sneeze th same although now its not enough and still hurts. It feels very tender to touch the area now as well. I feel I am bleeding, that I ripped something open.
So...has anyone ever heard of this.....do you know will it just fix itself, would I need another surgery to fix it???
I am 7 weeks as of yesterday and all was pretty good til now.

I to had a slight cough after my surgery and it is very normal to have pain in your stomach when you cough. You use stomach muscles when you cough. Maybe try holding a pillow against your stomach when you cough,it might help dull the pain. i would tho tell your doc about the pain....but i wouldn't worry about it!!!
you are still very early in the healing process. You will be sore and very tender for awhile. i am 7 months post-op and still have slight tenderness in the right side...but it acn take up to a full year to be healed!!!
still rest and be a good princess!!!!
