Hospital bill OH MY!

OK I just had my surgery on Tues. and now I'm really scared. I have insurance but just how much they will pay is up for debate. But on the other hand I couldn't go on living with the way my body was acting!!!! So no matter what it cost I wil be making payments with a smile on my face and gritting my teeth.

Wow! I just got the final bill for the surgery/recovery/hospital stay. Over $17,000.00 + ! The Operating room alone was $9,000.00. Wow! Thank goodness, between my insurance and my husbands we don't owe anything. I had paid $230.00 at my pre-op appt. so now I am done with all of that! Thank you!

your bill sounds like mine except I had to pay ALOT more than that. Glad you didn't have a HUGE amount to pay. I still owe the hospital $1100 and the Anesth. $880 but they are willing to let us pay it out and NO interest. I am happy about that. I paid the dr. over $5600 out of my pocket.. it has been a VERY expenxive surgery but I feel MUCH better.
