Adhesions therapy question

So sorry to hear about the adhesions returning for so many of you.

I see that some of you did have adhesion barriers put in. I also wonder whether some kind of planned massage therapy would be of benefit. I've heard of one called lymph drainage being useful for preventing adhesions but don't think there are too many massage therapists trained in that. It would be nice if, after so many post-op appointments, the doctor would give the go-ahead to start massaqge therapy. I do see some therapists that say they offer post-surgical massage. You just wouldn't want to do it too soon so you'd need a doctor's OK to proceed, I would guess. I wonder if drinking a ton of water would do any good, or maybe even blood-thinners for those who have a strong tendency to re-form adhesions quickly?

I'm going to a new doctor this week- I haven't been to one in 2-3 years. I know that adhesions is a big problem for me after seeing 2 PTs and a massage therapist and I'm hoping this doctor will be open to discussing adhesions because none of the doctors I've ever seen want to even talk about them.

If she refuses, then I'm thinking I'll have to fork out some big bucks to try the nearest Clear Passages program which is several hundred miles away but at least it is a driveable distance. I mentioned this to my massage therapist but she was skeptical that they could fix adhesions in just one week.

Anybody here tried this therapy? It sounds like they have 3 locations in the US.

I would be leary of anything or anyone who proclaimed to fix a problem in just a week. Seems odd to me.

Adhesions aren't always the cause of problems either. I always assumed my issues were caused by adhesions, especially considering they were found during every surgery I had. Than I had a lap to look for adhesions and not a one was found.

I did try the wurn technique and for me it did not work. But I think it does for some. It depends on the extent of adhesions and what's attached. I tried different therapists for that and the last one told me that they couldn't do anymore. That's why I am having a bowel resection, which I know may cause more problems but Im only doing this because I have run out of options.
