Too much time in the car

I was feeling so good this week (5 wks post-op) that I thought going to a BBQ which was an hour's drive away wouldn't be a bad idea - wrong! I also did a lot of walking around while I was there and missed my usual nap in the afternoon. I wasn't surprised when I got home to find my swelly belly was a bit larger than usual given the extra activity but the next morning it was still big and about as painful as it was 2 weeks ago. Taking it easy now and feeling much better. It's hard not to do the things you want to do when you're feeling good but don't over do it. I have to go back to work next week but I have an office job and a very understanding boss so I think it will be fine.

im 6 weeks i have been back to work since i was 4 weeks our drive to work is at least 1.5 hours not to mention if there are any accidents..then the same to go home...i was sore the first couple days but i am much better now.... i hated turning to look into the blindspot when we got on the expressway..but it gets better..
