6 months post hysterectomy period cramps and tender breasts
Hi my Darlings,
Well I have been fine no pain except today I am having period pain. I mean all my premenstraul symptoms such as tender breast, gassy, and cramps what does this mean??? I'm freaking out!!!

Did you keep your ovaries? If so, it sounds like you are dealing with typical PMS. Though the exact cause of PMS is unknown, it seems to be caused by fluctuations of the hormones produced by the ovaries as part of the normal menstrual cycle. Thus, if you have at least one ovary and it continues to function as they should after a hysterectomy, PMS can continue as well.
