dVH/RALH Getting a wisdom tooth pulled Monday!

Hey ladies!!
I have a wisdom tooth that's been bothering me on and off for a while... And after being in pain with that AND surgery recovery, I'm getting the sucker yanked Monday. No sedation, because it's already in (not impacted or anything).

I'm more nervous about that than I was about the hernia surgery I had in April or the hysterectomy I had a couple of weeks ago! Hate the dentist. But, this'll make me feel so much better.

Anyway, just wanted to share. Feel like I am falling apart!! They found another hernia during my hysterectomy, but nothing buldging out, so we are leaving it alone for now. It just has not been my year! Haha!

You poor thing. I'm not a big fan of the dentist either and I don't know why. Can you take a Valium before your appointment? It helps to take the edge off.

I'll ask if the oral surgeon can prescribe that for me! Thanks for the suggestion!

The good thing is that I'm already off work anyway, so I won't have to miss anymore. I'm a teacher and being gone is more work than being there sometimes!

Don't we all hate going to the dentist? I remember when I needed my last wisdom tooth pulled, it was coming out at a weird angle, so my dentist had to send me to a specialist. It took 3 shots to freeze it adequately for my comfort level, and he had to drill holes to get that sucker out! And having it so soon after your hysterectomy must be a real drag! So I'll definitely be thinking of you on Monday; I hope you'll post us to let us know how it goes. Best wishes for everything!

Thank you! Hopefully it will be no big deal. It's had a cavity forever, and pieces of it keep breaking off. I've been putting this off way too long - LOL! That's how much I hate the dentist!
