Back Home!!

Well I went in on Friday October 10, 2008 at 6:00 a.m. . I was sent up to the 2nd floor for prep before surgery. Ask all medical history again took my tempetrure, blood presure etc. Then the I.V.(not bad the nurse was good very gentle). My family was allowed to say bye to me except my youngest 13 year old was not allowed back. We did say our goodbye earlier. All I remember was being taken to the O.R and then waking up later in recovery(that's it). Nurses were all wonderful except one I had yesterday from 7 a.m. to 3p.m. she was as gentle as an OX!! Thank God I had a room full of family to help and watch everything. I was sent home yesterday at about 3:00 p.m. Very minor pain gas more than anything. I have been walking seems to help with gas. Doing my breathing exercise. Was sent home with Vicodine I haven't needed it. I am going to the bathroom no problem although no BM yet. My mon is helping out my husband is wonderful and my older kids especially my oldest daughter is just been great! My 13 year old is having a bit of problem with mom being the center of attention and not being myself. Oh well she will eventually get of it her dad will take care of that. All in all so far so good. I amvery surprised how well it's going. I thank you all for all of the well wishes you have no idea how much it has meant to me. Thank you all!!!
