Ticked off and still waiting
I just had to write and vent a little! I am supposed to be having surgery right now it was scheduled for today. However yesterday morning my doc called and pushed it back to the 24th. Because my thyroid levels were high and he said that it could cause rapid heartbeat and is a greater risk for complications. So he increased my synthroid and said he wanted to give it a week to level out. (A little back ground I take lithium, and when it is used long term can cause thyroid problems.) I understand his precaution, it is just I had prepared myself mentally and was all ready. I was sooo happy my waiting was over. Now 8 more days!!!! I just want to put this whole thing behind me. I am tired of talking about it, dreaming about it, thinking about it, ect, ect. I wonder if it will ever be over? Thanks to any of you who happen to read this. I haven't posted much but I have been reading, I have found much comfort and relief here. I am glad I am not alone in the world. God Bless s to you all!

Oh, I am so sorry that this happened, but I am sure you know, as frustrating as this situation must be, that your Dr. is "on the ball" and taking your best interests to heart. And that must be comforting.
Please keep us posted, you will be going in one day after I am now.
