4 weeks post hysterectomy: rectal pressure *not constipated
Hi,
I am 4 weeks post op DVH. I have been doing really really well, until 2 days ago. I am having twinges of pain mostly on the left side of my abdomen, and weird sensations, almost like I can feel my intestines doing their thing. I also have this feeling of rectal pressure, almost as though I am constipated, but I am not I have head regular formed bowel movements since surgery.
I also had some bright red bleeding today, and it's a small amount but I really haven't had any like this until these weird pains started. I have been back to work now for 2 weeks, and although I feel a little sore and tired at the end of the day, no spotting or this much discomfort. I am currently back in bed with my beloved heating pad, and this helps everything but that darn full rectal feeling, any thoughts ladies? Thanks in advance.

Re: rectal pressure *not constipated
It could be internal stitches dissolving since thats what happens around weeks 3-6....no matter which type of surgery you get.
And it does feel like sharp twinges of pain and can cause more discharge.
If the pain gets worse or you develop of fever or it starts to smell bad, definitely get yourself to a hospital
But rest as much as you can when you can since you are still healing up inside.
Take great care
