Tilted uterus
Ever since my first son (13) was born, I've had pain in the nerve running sown the front of my right thigh off and on. Never had it looked at, just dealt with it. I know my uterus tilts to the right. I've just read where some women get leg pain with uterine problems and now wonder if my uterus is pinching a nerve.
Anyone else had this? If so, did it go away after your hyst?

Tilted uterus
Hello, friend!
I had an enlarged uterus, & of course it tilted some (to the back/right I think)...It was so bad that it would pop on my pelvis, & it was just like a bone popping elsewhere...so, yes, I had pain down my right leg & even in my right side (thought it was appendix)...anyway!! to make a long story short...
My pains have all gone away & the popping is gone!! Ive had no pain down my leg, no numbness in my right foot, no pain in my right side...
Now, please realize that this is just my experience & I am in no way saying that yours will be like mine, but that surgery was one of the best things I ever did for myself...
It literately changed my life!
If you have any additional concerns, I would contact the drs. & get advise on the prognosis...they know your history & can give you more of an exact idea of whats going on...
I was to the point that I just wanted the pain gone...so it was worth loosing my uterus, etc. to have that mess gone!!!
You are all in my prayers!
let me know if I can do anything to help!

mine did
I also had retroverted back tilted enlarged uterus and my back pain was terrible. It felt like an electric shock racing through me it I didn't move carefully or brace myself, just stepping into a small depression in the ground could have me chewing pain killers!
I had given up trying to get it fixed and my doc kept telling me it wasn't connected to my uterus. Well, how come as soon as I first stood up after my hyst for prolapse, I knew the pain was gone, it never came back and my general practitioner had to admit to being wrong!
Hoping it's the same for you, best wishes, Linda

Tilted uterus
I had TVH on 12/16 for probably adenomyosis. The right sided pain, thigh/leg pain that you describe was one of my biggest symptoms. In researching adeno, I found that a "sciatica-like" pain, for some reason moreso on the right IS one of the symptoms of adeno. I also have always had a retroverted uterus (found to be pretty significant when surgery was done) and my right ovary (said good bye to that on surgery day also) was more over and down to the right than it should have been. Nothing worked for the pain - otc pain meds, heavy duty prescribed stuff from the doc, wasn't able to do BC because of my age and the fact that I smoked at the time. For all of the advil/pamprin/midol that I've been popping over the last few years as the pain has increased, I now wish that I had bought some stock in those companies!
Just before my surgery, the back pain was constant - like a really bad toothache. In fact, that's what finally convinced me to have the surgery done even tho I always knew that I would have it done at some point. Had a laproscopy done Oct '01 to check for endo that concluded "boggy uterus" very probably adenomyosis.
Since surgery - nothing but normal healing/you've done way too much type of pain - nothing that can't be handled by a couple of advil.
