Left sided abdominal pain 9 wks post-op - anyone else?

Hi, I am 9 wks post op today from a hyst with both ovaries and cervix removed. I had stage 4 endo and up to 20 fibroids(they couldn't count them all). I was feeling pretty good. Still very, very tired and tender in my belly, but since Sunday I have had this horrible nagging pain in my left side. Sometimes it burns. I am recovering from my 3rd UTI since surgery, but do not think it is related to this. Just wondering if anyone else has or is experiencing this. THANKS!

Unfortunately, I can't offer any help or advice. I am 8 weeks post-op and starting having burning pains on my right side a couple days ago. Then, yesterday, I noticed a soreness over my whole belly. Later, I started having drainage from one of the incisions(daVinci). Last night I started having a small amount of discharge/ pinkish/ blood also. I don't know what in the world is going on. My doc is on vacation and so I'm not calling unless I have to. My mom is an RN and she thinks it's OK to bide my time and take it VERY easy for right now. Sorry I'm not more help. Just wanted to let you know that you're not the only one having problems this late in the game. I hope we both get to feeling better very soon!

I'm only on my first week and I have pain in my left side I wonder if it is gas but I don't know all I know is it is very annoying and painful at times

Hiya, I'm at a bit over six weeks and having problems with pain (just did my first post). Though the pain is on both sides and in the middle, I can't lie on my left side -- it intensifies then. Looks like stuff happens even this late in the game. Hang in there, you're not alone. Colo Gal
