lots of bathroom trips?

I'm glad to see that it is getting better. I think a lot of times the surgery is such a shock to our systems that they just need time to recuperate. Hope it continues to improve

My cath came out the day after surgery and I had to pee every 30 minutes, and it was a ton. I still had my IV in and I was drinking a bunch. Even when the IV came out though, I still went a bunch every time- every 30 minutes. I think most of us drink more water after surgery than we usually do and it makes us pee more often. I found that rocking back and forth on the toilet seat helped empty all of my bladder. It is like it is squished or folded up in there. I can now sleep 6-7 hours without having to get up, but it took awhile to get to that point.
