8 weeks and I am all good!

Hello my sisters, Wednesday October 9th made 8 weeks since my surgery. I will like to say that I am very blessed to have not had any complications in any way. I was cleared to work out 6 weeks after, because of my progress and celebrated it with a 6 mile jog that following Sunday. Now at 8 weeks, I've been running, lifting weights and doing Pilates and other Abs exercises. Of course I am not to full strength especially in my ABS, but I can do full sit-ups, leg lifts and planks.

I credit exercise prior to the surgery my saving grace. I ran, lifted weights and did ABS the day before surgery. I have had no complications, but a little stinging in the incision area and the doc says its just the nerves. I felt my sex drive came back by feeling very ***** at week 5, but I am looking forward to some action this weekend to celebrate the 8 weeks of good recovery. Whoo Hoo!

No mood swings, no hot flashes no pain, just determination to get my belly from being so loose and flabby. Besides this ugly scar I am well and feeling good.
