Normal underware

I went to the doctor today for my second postop visit and the second time I put on regular clothes. The underwear doesn't bother me, but my pants are tight around my belly. However, the support feels good. I just went online and ordered a swellybelly band. I'm going back to work half days next week. I too wear scrubs

i am 6 weeks post op with a horizontal incision and i wear my normal undies with no problems, i still am not wearing my jeans but thats because i like to wear my jeans with a snug fit so the tightness is to much for my incision still.

I have a bikini line incision, and I always wear a full brief or hanes her way hi cut undies, so far no problem. I have been wearing my regular clothes since I got home from hosp. No swelling yet thank goodness. I had TAH/BSO done August 25th/05
Hope everyone is doing well.

In May I had my uterine ablation and 1 ovary and tube removed so I had the 3 usual incisions, but I was not able to wear regular tight fititng low rise panties until almost 4 months later!!!!!! it took along time for that funny pressure feeling to go away and I hated anything tight on I wore alot of sundresses and skirts so this time I bought alot of big granny panties.

I got 4 underpants from the MotherHood shop. Unlike high waisted ones these come all the way up to your ribs in the front. No there not pretty on, but they are great for the swelly belly. I'm not messing up any of my VS underwear. I still have a swelly belly and when I walk on a track by evening it's really out there. I'm not worried about how soon I can get into my other clothes. I'm just happy to have had the surgery.

i have been wearing my regular underclothes since i came home from the hospital and i have a vertical inscision.----i am LDS and wear temple garments, which are so much more comfortable than regular underwear, and since i have a long torso, i always wear maternity style, so my belly has been quite comfy in my underclothes. i'll be so glad to not have another period and have to wear regular underwear for pads ever again!!!!
