Nausea at 2 weeks post-op

My surgery was 2 weeks ago today, and I cannot get rid of the nausea, dr. put me on phenegran and it doesn't seem to help. Anyone else having this problem? I stopped taking the pain meds and I go potty just fine but man does my tummy hurt. I appreciate any helpful tips anyone may have. Ugh... What whould I do w/ this website? You ladies have been a lifesaver. Kudos to everyone.

Nausea at 2 weeks post-op

I too had problems with nausea at the two wk mark. I don't know what caused it but I decided to eat small portions and mild foods for the tummy. It did seem to work itself out after the third wk. If phenerghan isn't working try zofran it was a life safer while I was in the hospital. I could not take any pain meds that wouldn't cause me to get sick so they added the zofran.

I too struggled with nausea. I'm 4 weeks out and less nausea but still struggling with appetite. None of the antinausea meds did much. Hang in.

Anxiety

Hi Everyone. I am 4 wks post-op from TAHBSO and struggling. Presurgery I had no issues with anxiety but now I am so anxious. I was started on vivelle dot 0.5 and did this for about 2 weeks but was having GI side effects and stopped. The anxiety then took off. I restarted the patch and had GI problems again, so I took the patch off. Now my anxiety is crazy. Any suggestions? I still have no appetite and feel full all the time.
