I'm new and nervous

Ijust wanted to say that you are not alone. I'm scheduled for my TAH AND the removal of my remainig ovary on November 21st. I too am nervous especially of what will happen after with having no ovaries. I try not to think too much about it, but it seems thats all I can think about. Ive had cysts on my ovaries for some time now and they removed one back in march, but since then I seem to not be able to stop bleeding. I also have real bad endo. So i know i made the right decision, i'm just real anxious. I'm 41 and never had children.

Well, I did not have my surgery on Monday after all. When I got to the hospital, the power had gone out and it took them 35 min just to get the emergency back up generators on! I got sent home 3 hours later. The good news is that today I am finally getting this surgery done at 5pm. I am soooooo ready. I spent two days depressed when the surgery didn't happen, so I know I am ready to do this.
