Pain on right side!

Okay, I am about 2 1/2 weeks post-op and overall feeling okay and getting better each day, except that my right side still hurts. No pain on the left side at all.

I had a tvh with the removal of both tubes and the right ovary, plus bladder work. I am assuming if the left ovary had been taken out I would have pain on both sides equally (?). Just wondered if other gals have experienced this. Haven't been doing any heavy activity, just lots of couch time

I had a TVH on the 4th. All of mine pain is on my left side (I still have both ovaries and tubes). The nurse mentioned to me that it is very common for people to feel on one side of the other. HTH.

TVH on 1/4/07 - still have both ovaries

I had TAH and no ovaries removed. My pain was more on the rt side.

I had pain on the left side. Still have both ovaries. I could not figure this out. Good to know that the nurse told you this was common. I wondered, but since I am 7 weeks post op and I am not feeling that now. But it was a bother for awhile.
You are still newly recovering from surgery. Take care of your self and pamper the princess.
