dVH/RALH: Coffee the day after surgery?

I couldn't stomach it for a couple of days and I am an avid coffee drinker. It's not that they won't let you, it's whether or not you can drink it.

When we were driving away from the hospital my husband asked me if I wanted anything on to way to the hotel, and I said Coffee!

I had just had some hospital coffee but it was nasty, so Starbucks it was!

I actually wished I had brought some from home in a thermos...can we say coffee addicted? And if it isn't coffee it is iced tea...lol.

That is great news!! I love coffee. I was wondering the same thing. WOOHOO!!

I tried to get the nurse to let me do my "walk" to Starbucks, without luck. So yes had coffee day after, but hospital coffee with a Starbucks sooooo close
