How can you listen to your body when it just wants to lounge around?

thank you all for posting - I've been feeling discouraged. In the weeks since my surgery I have only managed to reheat leftovers or boil noodles. I cooked 2 easy dinners on days when I did absolutely nothing else.

I spent 1 hour in my DD's kindy classroom (teacher called and begged and I felt guilty because I had to cancel pretty last minute due to surgery being moved up) and I was in pain all night! All I did was play a board game with them on the floor but I guess it was all the leaning forward. I had to go find and take 1/2 a painkiller - glad I had a few left!!

I so thought I'd be feeling better by now. My Dr. presented this as an easy recovery - but that was before we knew about the endo, adhesions and extensive cauterization needed. He did say it would be at least 6 months before I felt "myself" again. I am exhausted everyday, but struggle to sleep, then struggle to get up and then struggle to do anything.
