Hysterectomy in 10 days; Pre-Op and Nerves

I had a scheduled telephone consultation with my GYN this morning, it went well, and she answered the last minute questions I had. I really like talking to her, she is very easy to chat with and she has great bedside manner, (even though we were not in person). I just get good vibes from her. And no bowel prep, woohoo!!!

She plans to do my surgery laproscopically (sp?) and if no complications, she confirmed that I will stay in the hospital one night.

I'm a single mom, so I'm dealing with anxiety over putting everything on my mom who will help me after the surgery. I'm used to taking care of everything and my girls (and the two furbabies) without much help from anyone else, so the idea of being bed ridden for a week or two scares me to bits! I'm going to miss walking my bad dogs soooo much!

This coming weekend will be all about preparing as many freezer meals as I possibly can. Enough blabbing from me, thanks for listening!

My tlh is also coming up in 10 days, on the 24th. My preop consult is tues am and my last gyn appt is tues pm. Nerves come and go. I did a stupid thing and watched the surgery on YouTube. Now I'm worse off.My kid are all self sufficient, Sony main problem is making sure that the kids get to all activities on time. My husband requested a color coded calendar, so I made him one. A few meals are made ahead. My kids know how to cook and are taking that over for the most part. The main problem is who gets to clean up
