LSH w/ BSO Normal at-home symptoms?

I had a lap supracervical hysterectomy where both tubes and ovaries were also removed on Wednesday afternoon. Additionally, the doctor had to do a repair to my omentum as my ovary was stuck in it. I came home Thursday. I used minimal pain medication through yesterday (Saturday night). Really, most of the pain I've had is just a pulling on the left side. A very strong pull. I didn't have any bleeding. I can walk pretty well. I haven't had any issues using the restroom. My incisions are closed and clean. I've stayed very quiet (naps, playing online, watching documentaries, etc) for the most part. I have a great support system that allows me to be a bum

THen today, it seems everything has gone crazy. I've been freezing cold all day (no fever). I have been dizzy and woozy a lot. I've been in the bathroom a ton. I'm nauseous. The pain is similar to the last couple days. Now I have some spotting. I can move in most ways though I still can't pick anything up off the ground.

All the above is upsetting me because I really thought I should be feeling better by now, but I feel I've gotten worse.

Sorry to whine...I'd love some input.

You might be feeling the lack of hormones is my guess. Check with your doctor and if this is the case, he can put you on hrt or give you an idea of what to do to feel better.

Re: LSH w/ BSO Normal at-home symptoms?

I am on Estrace, but it does make sense that my body is going to take time to work out everything. I was able to move around this morning, but again, just sitting here, am woozy. I need to make an appointment with the doctor anyway.

Hopefully I can feel better soon. Got too busy of a life to lie around all day! At the same time, I'm trying to remember that this is major surgery even if it doesn't feel like it. I need to let myself heal now rather than push it.
