Tish -

Sending you all good thoughts. I was excited about my surgery too. it done. I can't tell you how much better I feel. I had my surgery a week ago today. Saw the Doctor yesterday to have the staples removed...that was a breeze.

But I threw up so violently it went all the way over to the bathtub Of course, I was trying for that, not wanting to clean up that mess ... it was so awful. I have never thrown up so violently in my entire life. It was like projectile. #%&*&#

I feel better now. A little shaky, but better.

If I can't handle the bowel prep, how am I going to handle the surgery ????

Now I'm flipping. Good golly miss MOLLY!!!

So sorry this happened to you...I hope this is the worst of it for you....maybe it was the Red Bull too as it has a lot of stimulants, caffeine in it that may not have mixed with the laxative stimulant.......when you look back after tomorrow you may just say the surgery was nothing compared to the bowel prep...keeping fingers crossed for you...good luck

Honest to goodness, there was a couple of minutes there I thought I was just going to die on my bathroom floor. Yes, so glad that part is past. I fail to see how anything about the surgery can be any worse than my little lavatory party this afternoon.

You mentioned you wanted to keep busy before the surgery JoEllen49....but come on now!! I think you could have chosen dusting or something....lol...

I'm SO sorry that happened to you. I think you're right, maybe too much food, the red bull it all just backfired. I'm glad you're feeling better. And maybe that was going to be the worst of it for you. The op will be a breeeeze!

Good luck to all you guys in the next couple of days, it will all go well and I expect an update when humanly possible.
