right LSH inscision

My right LSH incision is bleeding lightly and looks wierd. Like a small piece of tissue(looks whitish) is pulled out. I noticed this when I took a shower and change bandaids. I was given any post op instructions on the inscisions. Feeling a tad anxious and creeped out. Dunno whether to wash incision with betadine or leave it alone. I mean it did get wet with water through the bandaid. It looks like he didn't suture the lateral side incisions......
I have been bending alot but it doesn' hurt to bend.
Thanks for letting me voice my fears......I will call doc tomorrow and ask when I set up my 3 week post op appt.

Thanks for asking, Patty! It's all good. A search on this site suggested that peroxide and keeping it dry would be a good idea. So that's what I did. It looked much better by the time I called to set up an appt. The nurse confirmed i had taken the right action. Whew!

My 2 week doctor's appt is Monday afternoon.
