Hi! Well, it's 6 weeks and 2 days, and my doctor signed me off today. I was supposed to go back to work March 6, but I am having a fatty tumor taken out of my left thigh that day. I don't know how deep it is or how long I will have to be off with that--probably only a few days. So, I'm thinking I will be back on the job Monday, March 13, and I am NOT looking forward to it. I have a very high-stress job, and I will be running around a lot. I know I will be tired. The good thing is that we will be off a week in April while the doctor is away, so that will help me. I just have to bite the bullet--I have really enjoyed being off. I have had my moments, but generally I have felt pretty good. He says I'm healed beautifully. I am SOOOOOO glad it's over and I am FREE! I hope all you 6-weekers are doing well and feeling pretty good. Anyone else going back to work now, or already? Tell me how it was/is for you! Love to all the sisters out there.........

Pixie, I had my surgery Dec 15th... so I'm further along in my recovery than you are. I went back to work on Jan 25th. I have a desk job, but that was still a little rough on me. I have to get up and stretch and not sit at my desk for extended periods , or I'll feel like an old woman when I get up.

I'm back to doing most of my normal routines. Haven't gone back to my exercising yet, but should be doing that now. No motivation to get up at 5:15 to work out... tooo dark outside. LOL!

I went back to work today and am extreamly exhausted. I work in retail, in a small store. I was able to take it pretty easy and sit some but was still on my feet for about 6 hrs. I am a little achy but not really sore, just tired. I have two days off, because of how my days fall, then back for 5. Next week should be interesting. I do have a great job though and will be able to do work where I can sit when I really need to. Good luck to you.
