sexual desire with no response

Please help...I had a hysterectomy done March 2013, removing both ovaries in addition. I am the minivelle estrogen patch. Since that time I have not been able to achieve a full orgasm. It is creating havoc in my life, I do nothing but cry. My clit never swells, I feel nothing. My nipples used to be very sensitive to the touch, now nothing. I feel like I could orgasm but it never happens. In some posts from 2008 I read of women that were looking into clitoral pumps. I am hoping that someone who did purchase one can let me know if it works before I invest in purchasing it.
I cry every day wishing that I had never gotten this surgery. As my head is in one place, still wanting and desiring tons of sex and my body is in another place.
Any advice is welcomed.

My suggestion would be to try a sexual enhancement cream. I use one from Pure Romance--I find it on Amazon. It used to be called x-scream but now I think it is now called Pure Sensitive Enhancement Cream with Triple Tingle. You can use it on your clitoris and your nipples.
Another product site that is good and most likely cheaper is goodvibes.com. It is based out of a store in San Fransisco and they use all natural ingredients in their lubes and enhancement creams. They don't spam you or sell your email address. They send things in discrete packaging. I don't think Goodvibes is even on the return label.
I am struggling a bit as well. For some, erotica, romance novels or movies, vibrators (or other sex toys) even porn can help. I know a lot of people are not comfortable with this. But we each have to find what works for us. There is hope. Keep trying.
I have not heard of a clitoral pump so have no advice on that.

I'm so sorry you are going through this. I can only imagine your frustration. I am sure someone here will be able to help you but have you asked your doctor?

As long as you are willing I believe you will get there!! A sex therapist is a good idea!
Oh, if you find the Goodvibes magazine on the site it has good articles and short erotic stories. You might be able to look up past articles. They do a lot of sex education and tips articles as well. You may be able to contact someone on their staff about your issues. I believe they have quite a few people on staff that are doctors. Let us know if you have success!!

Just a thought, many women get relief when they add testosterone to their HRT regimen. Your doc can order a blood test to see if you are a good candidate.

I spoke to my gynaecologist because it takes me so much longer to reach orgasm now. He explained that nerve pathways are cut/disturbed by the surgery so this can be normal after hysterectomy (it wasn't mentioned before!)

So maybe things will improve for you as these pathways regenerate- slowly.

A bonus for me is that because I'm not as sensitive any more, my husband and I can continue after my first orgasm and I have several more
