What Is Adeno?

Its short for adenomyosis. Its like endometriosis but internal.

Adenomysis is when the lining of the uterus gets thick like it does before your menstrual cycle and instead of shedding off all the blood it produces scar tissue which develops inside the uterus muscle and makes it feel spongy and puffy. The only way that I have heard of to ID adeno for sure is to test the uterus after a hysterectomy. Symptoms can include really painful cramps and heavy bleeding. They thought that might be what caused my periods but it turned out to be just wacky hormones.
