Question about ovary pain after TVH

Hey everyone, I had a tvh on March 6. They left both
ovaries, but said I had a cyst on the right one. It has
been hurting bad sometimes the pain goes into my
back and shoots down my leg. Is this the ovary just
trying to kick in? Still have lots and lots of gas too.
I don't want to have them do anymore surgery. So
I'm hesitant to tell them about the pain in my ovary.

I'm sorry you're in pain I think you should let your doctor know what you're feeling. He knows your situation and is the best to advise about it.

I would definately tell your doctor about your pain. I had pain after my TVH on one of my ovaries... it turned out that I had a cyst on it. The cyst did rupture and the pain went away, but I was SO GLAD that my doctor knew about everything and had run a sonogram. The peace of mind was worth everything.

Hi had a TVH also, can't tell you about the overy pain, but the gas seemed to last forever..about 4 weeks...I felt every thing my intestines and bowels were doing. ouch! But Dr explained that he had used the ligament from my uterus to wrap around my intestine and hook somewhere(oops forgot) but it was to keep my bowel from prolapsing. he said it would be sore for a while. Pain is gone for the most part now.
