When you're feeling better, and recovered, perhaps you should ask the new doc if there is a board or something you can report him to. In the least, I would get on yelp, healthgrades, as well as his facebook review page and leave some negative feedback about his horrible bedside manner and the fact that he refused to perform needed surgery.

I was wondering about you this past week. I'm sorry your first doctor was a nut job, but I'm happy the second doctor helped you out. My DH had a hard time healing from an accident and the doctor told him to up his protein to aid in the healing process. When my husband did what the doctor suggested he began to heal. So please make sure you are getting enough protein and taking it easy. Hoping and praying that you heal forever and that your pain is gone.
