nervous & waiting!!

I am new to "Hyster Sisters" but i have read quite a few messages from both the ladies who like myself are waiting and ones whom have already had their surgeries. You have helped answered alot of questions that have been in my mind....so to you all i say "thank you".
Not only do I have the surgery on Tuesday morning but starting tomorrow (sunday) i have to start injections twice daily of a blood thinner because i had a blood clot 27 yrs ago and then 2 years after that my blood wouldn't clot due to some wacky virus i had. Now i also have phlebetis in my lower legs so now the doctors have some concerns over this. The doctor has shown me how to give myself the injections otherwise i would have to go to the hospital twice a day for them to do.
I'm sure all will go well but the jitters are inside me!!!

Here is a BIG to start off with. I know how you feel. Things will go fine, just remember to start walking as soon as you can and that will also help with not getting any blood clots. Make sure you remember all your do's and don'ts and thing will go great for you!! Take care and best wishes!
