6 weeks post op. Doing pretty good.

I'm at my 6 weeks post op today & I'm feeling pretty good. I am able to do some cleaning & I go walking on pretty days. I can play with my son & get down on the floor to play too. I just try to not over do anything. I had to have an emergency hysterectomy so my incision is huge & goes from a few inches above my belly button all the way down to my who who but it is healing great & I feel pretty good. I was pregnant when I had my hysterectomy so my hormones are still super crazy. I cry alot & think about all the what ifs. (My story is a crazy one. If u wanna know more just ask.) But thats about it right now.

Hi Butterfly86. Good to hear that your recovery is going well. Eventually we get to where we need to be. It's a process. One that is challenging physically and emotionally.
