8 days post hysterectomy: Left sided stabbing pains...

Hi Everyone

I am 8 days post total abdominal hysterectomy with both ovaries removed. Recovering slowly but surely after a bout of paralytic ileus when the bowel shut down for a day or so but recovering from that but now getting intermittent stabbing pains on left side around the ovary area(that once was). On a good notes bowels seem to be slowly recovering.

Anyone else had this?

Hi! I had my surgery almost 3 weeks ago and experienced the same thing. It went away after a couple of days. If yours continues, you may want to contact your doctor. with recovery!!
