Have I overdone it and damaged myself? 5 weeks post hysterectomy

If there was any penetration at all, there is a risk of infection. The pain needs to be reported to your surgeon. Even if you feel good today, there could still be an infection brewing. You need to be concerned with what your own doctor says and not base how you are feeling on what someone else's doctor says.

Hi.
Went to see Doc today who said it all seemed fine. As suggested by most I had just overdone things and needed to take it easy. Told it was unrealistic to expect to feel normal and go back to work in less than a week and basically had knuckles wrapped and told to go a bit easier on myself.
