Sept 15th is confirmed!

Finally heard from my gyno's office about 10 minutes ago and they did get me squeezed in for Sept. 15th definately. I don't know why I feel excited and nervous at the same time...maybe the waiting after them telling me that I might have to wait another week or two. I just wanted to share the news with you girls. My surgery will be at 4pm....I wonder when I'll have to start the NPO when it's at that time. My pre-op is scheduled for Friday morning at 10:45 and I'll get all the info then I guess. So anxious to ge this done and over with.

My surgey is on the 15 to.My Preop tomorrow. i'm alittle nervous,but so far not to bad.I'm still waiting for the time of mine
won;t find out until day before.I'll be for you.

Congrats, Mich!!!! Mine is on Friday. Just had my pre-op at the hosp and that made it all a little more real. I even went up to the surgery center to see what it looks like and where the DH will be waiting.

I'm glad you're feeling better and you have your date!

Oh man, I am so happy for you, I will hopefully be going home when you are having your surgery, I know how releaved you must be because waiting becomes such a drag, you just dont care anymore about being nervous, you just want to goooooo.....NPO in the old world meant no food past midnight the night before, I know thats cruel, but thats how it goes for your health....Love, D

Thanks sisters....I had been scheduled for the 15th for the last 5 weeks, and then when they told me yesterday maybe not for a few more weeks, I didn't know what to think. I'm happy it's all settled now.

Thanks Monica, that does help me to know that I won't have to starve myself for two days... What are we going to do with outselves waiting for late afternoon appointments?

I had a scare today too that they may change my date, so I know how nerve wracking it can be to be in limbo. I'm so glad things are now settled for you. Take care!

Congrats Mich glad they didnt change your date, I will be having my pre-op on that day and my op on the 21st, can wait till my pre op is over then I feel it will be real. I smoke so I am a little concerned that my chest will not be ok, probably over concerned though.

Anyway good luck for the 15th may god be with you!

Hiya Doe...what a surprise! That's my older sister Doreen....she's been having her own feminine issues and I told her about this site.

Suze, I'm a smoker too....the doctor told me to go down to 7-8 cigs for a few more days and then no smoking at all 3-4 days before the surgery and all will be fine.
