Had my LEEP

On Friday, Oct. 24, wasn't bad at all. Thank goodness my gyno is a riot, I only wanted to kick him once during the cauterizing. I had a slight reaction to the local, shaking all over the place, went home and slept it off. Some pretty good cramping going on. I also heard a rumor that my doc and his associate are closing their office due to insurance costs, OMG, I flipped! He is the best doc in town and so many ladies see him. I am going to schedule my hyster for December instead of waiting till January. I can't wait till Monday to phone the office and find out the scoop. God Bless you all, have a great day

Had my LEEP

Hi MyMari59

I'm glad that your LEEP wasn't too bad. My DD had one about 10 or 11 years ago, and because of the extensiveness of the area that he had to remove, her onc/gyn did it as outpatient surgery, and put her to sleep. I don't remember if she had cramping after the LEEP, although she always did after colposcopies.

I sure hope you find that your doctor is not closing his office, but if it is true, maybe you can get scheduled before it happens. I hope the rumor turns out to be just that - a rumor, and nothing factual.
