swelly belly 7 weeks post op davinci assisted vaginal hyster

Hi Ladies,
I was wondering... those of you who had davinci surgery... did you still have swelly belly at this point? I seem to be fine in the morning... then by mid day and evening my tummy is SO swollen! I have four incisions on my tummy (they are mostly just scars now I think), but I did have everything removed through the vagina. Is it normal to still be so swollen in the belly area at the end of the day??

I still get a bit of a swelly belly. It seems to be worse if I wear a belt.

i'm having to assume its normal since i'll be 11 weeks tomorrow and i still have swelly belly at the end of the day... some days my jeans start out loose and are tight by evening... its really annoying! i had a davinci with everything removed vaginally...

That is what happens to me too! Jeans are tight at the end of the day. I am still achy if I do alot of bending or activity too and I think that causes swelling .

I slept all night in my stomach...(will avoid that now) No wonder I woke up with a swelly belly in the morning and am feeling so bloated! this is my 7th week since TAH kept ovaries

I had regular laparascopic removal of everything eight weeks ago and I just signed on to see if anyone else was having this problem. I am so swollen that it's actually physically uncomfortable. When does this go away?

I wish I knew when it goes away. I am usually so swollen in my tummy by the end if the day that my pants are too tight. I am seeing my primary doc on Thursday so I can ask then. When I brought it up with my surgeon last week at my post op appt, he said that my pelvic floor must be swollen still. Not quite sure what he means....

It's been 4 months since my surgery & I still have a swelly belly too I even jumped to one size more.I feel awful about it & also still hurts like crampy when I bend down or stand up for a long time. I thought that abdominal hysterectomies were the only ones that cause swelly belly.I wonder why the vaginal Hysterectomies cause inflamation too?

5 weeks post DaVinci this Thursday and I still have the Swelly Belly as well.

I'm 4 months post op and still have swelly belly! I swear I feel like it will never go away. I think I forgot what it looked like before surgery.
