I hate when you think your all ready to go then POOF, the date is changed for one reason or another. My origional date was scheduled for Jan.28, but get this... I was BUMPED out of the OR. Then I was scheduled for Feb. 20, but I needed to have a consult with a gynourologist ( that visit today is a whole nother story... and I am NOT smiling after seeing him), to see if I need a bladder tack... insurence moved slow on that, so I missed the Feb. 20 date... now I am pushed to March 20... I have NO plans on changing THAT date....I am sure you will find a hospital, as for you being off from work; is it possible for you to return to work, then when you get closer to the surgery take your medical leave? I have changed my medical leave 3 times now... I am lucky none of the managment has said anything about me switching surgery dates, not that there is really anything we can do about it. I keep rearranging my work schedule because as you can imagine, I would rather have the time off post op than pre op... but I am lucky, I am not in really any pain
