Haircut before surgery

Hi Sisters,

I wanted to tell you girls who have longer hair to get a haircut before your surgery. I have had for years below shoulder layered hair and thought how much more work it will be post surgery to care for..washing and drying etc...I told my hair dresser to cut it off..it always grows back. I am SOO glad I did this. Taking a shower can really wear you out, and with the shoulder hair it helps make things go quicker and easier. I plan to grow mine back out as I feel better.

I know some of you reading this have already short hair..but I wanted to pass this along. I can't count the number of times post surgery I have told DH how happy I am I did this...so much easier to care for now when I'm not moving so well..etc..
