New with HORRIBLE pressure pain

hey loves to run............i'd been having cramps/spasms/pain and i decided to feel my vag. cuff, and as the gyno said i had lumpy scars which would take time to "soften", i ignored the lumpiness. then, a couple of months later, i had a feel, as things were getting worse instead of better, and one of the "lumps" had grown, and was round and protruding, kinda. so, got an appointment with the gyno, which took a month, and that was on monday last week, and she removed it??? i've been using an antibiotic cream, and, then yesterday, i was having more stabbing type pains, so, i had another feel, and the polyp is there ! ! what the??? and, it feels hardish??? so, i'm in a quandry. will ring her again tomorrow, to see what's what?? also, i've had some spotting, and a bit of odour since stopping the cream? ggrrrrr.......i am sooooo over all this stuff.

Pressure pain

PattieO, my pain feels more like a low back pain with pressure and some generalized crampiness. When my MD did the vaginal exam and pressed on the back wall I felt a lot of tenderness. I really hope this is what it is and that time will help the body reabsord the fluid. I am back at my first day of work today and quite uncomfortable, I am getting so tired of feeling badly. I hope you find some answers, not knowing is the worst part because you start to wonder if you will ever feel "normal".

I wonder if that is just more from your rectocele than the hyst. Seems like the back wall of the vagina would be pressing in that area... Wishing you and all of us a pain free future.... I went without pants most of the morning, just a very long nightie, loose and that seemed to help... I think anytime something rubs on the incision, inner parts are also reacting..

Smileeone,

Im wondering what area is the Rectocele located??? The beginning of the word gives a hint of where, but would like to know for sure what it is, what goes wrong there and if it may be reason for my pain????..... The pain that I am having now is the same old pain as before. ARRG!! Would you mind decribing your pain to me so we can compare. I want to solve this!!

Thanks for any help

New with HORRIBLE pressure pain

Hey sisters,

I am almost 4 weeks post op. I have been having quite a bit of pain in my back. Mostly when I get out of the house and do some walking. Do you think this is more than just me recovering from my surgery or something different I should call my doctor about?

Thanks,

Diane

New with HORRIBLE pressure pain

hey diane...........i get backache, which is relative to the inflamation in my "ex-uterine" area.............if the cuff area is sore, then my back is sore. but, in your case, being only 4 weeks out, i would think that it is just all the organs settling into their new position etc. and, when you're walking, and jarring everything about, that's what's probably happening. but, keep aware, and watchful for any other symptoms, and if you get concerned, then further investigate? and keep hoping..........gee.

Thanks for the reply Gee. I feel like I should be doing more because there are no visible incision because I had a TVH ....so I think I over do it sometimes. I just need to learn to rest when I am not feeling so good.

Thanks
