The race is on....

My surgery is the 25th and I'm nervous as hell.
Plus of course the added twist of having my period too just makes things more interesting.
I'm not due to have it until the 27th but I started spotting today and that usually means its only a day or two away. What fun....
I guess its a wait and see which comes first.
You know the funny thing is I don't know which one I am dreding the most. The surgery or the period.

I started right before my surgery and should have been on it when I went under, but I stopped right before. I asked my DD about it and he said it was no big deal. It is just saying good bye. hahaha
I absolutely love the fact that I will never have another period for the rest of my life. I dont miss it !
I wish you luck on your surgery. I hope you have little pain and a fast recovery.

I started three days before my surgery too and I guess it doesn't interfere with the surgery at all anyway.
Yes, I lay on the couch and thought, "This is it....no more!"

Pat, my name is Chelle. I am going to have my surgery, a TAH with BR due to cervical and uterine cancer, on May 2. This stuff is a drag but I am inspired by all the women on here who have done this and feel so much better. I am praying that you will find some comfort and that your surgery goes well. It will be fine, keep your chin up and I will keep you in my prayers! Will be thinking of you.

Dear Cowcrazy - I got my period last week, but I'm not scheduled for surgery until 5/9. But what a relief it was to know it was my last one! Hooray! That thought helped me through the awful cramps and clots. You can do it too! Hang in there!
