TAH What is wrong with me?

TAH was Nov 9, 2012. Since that time, I have sex a total of 2 times, once at 10 weeks and once for Valentine's Day. Sex is supposed to be better after surgery. Problem is, I have no desire. I am 41 and have been married for 20 years. I have an 8 year old who is a handful. Had years of fertility issues and treatment. Miscarriages in between. Luckily, my husband doesn't mind (or just doesn't say). I had this problem before surgery and doc said it was just a mental thing because my hormones were fine and that everything would be better after surgery. He said a woman's natural instinct is to reproduce and when you take the pressure away, its way more fun. When will the fun begin???????

I don't think there is anything wrong with you. I read a lot of post on here about libido being out of control and currently mine is as well but I'm not quite 2 weeks out so I know I'm not supposed to do anything but I'm pretty sure that when I'm cleared that I will return to how I was before surgery. It is supposed to be fun but when a person has gone through years of pain and not really thinking anything about sex, its hard to change those habits. Even though you've had surgery and feel better, it's likely that you just don't think about it regularly. It's good your husband is supportive in not constantly having sex but he may be in the same boat where its not constantly on his mind either.
