after surgery

Hi Ladies
its me again with yet another (maybe) dumb question.....After the sugery is over how many(not exact number) times do they check you and what do they do to check you? I am have TVH with A&P and bladder sling and fixing the uretha as taht has a bulge toooooo. Is my bottom gonna be like a traffic accident and people will be coming be to see and touch! Just one more thing i need to know to prepare..I cant say it enough THANK-YOU.....I really am greatful for all your much needed experience.

There's no such thing as a dumb question here at HS. In my case, I was pretty groggy the first day, and probably a million people could have come in and checked me and I wouldn't have known or cared I sort of remember them coming to check my pad, but it wasn't often.

The next morning, the nurse came in and removed the gauze packing from my vagina, and checked the episiotomy-like stitches where the rectocele repair had been done. That's honestly all that I remember being checked, and hopefully it will be the same for you.
