hysterectomy accomplished!

Hi everyone,
I had my tah on Tuesday Dec 1st. I came home Thursday afternoon. I feel fine as far as pain goes, I don't take pain medication, so ibuprofen has been it for me since the surgery. But the thing I am having problems with is feeling "a little off." I feel like my balance is not good. Kinda like Im drunk without the happy parts of that. I called my Dr. office and spoke to the nurse and she said the general anesthesia is still in my body, that some people take longer than others to get rid of it. She said to make sure I am really hydrating myself to help. Does anybody else know if this could be the case, it is starting to concern me, as that is the only part that seems to be getting worse, not better.
Thanks

Re: hysterectomy accomplished!

Yep, I felt the same way. Once the anesthesia is out of your body that should go away. It did take me a while for that to be gone. But it will go away. Hang in there.
