dVH/RALH Holy Swollen Right Leg, Batman!

Had a modified da vinci hysterectomy on Weds, April 16th. 6 days later and this is not the body I went into surgery with. I am 5'6" and weigh 123. I am now 131 and I have this huge fluid giggly tire around my mid-section. Not bloated, but swollen and full of fluid. Still on a catheter and bowels are moving fine.

What really worries me is the size of my butt and thighs. Both are larger than I remember, but the right side is much larger! What is this? I did have pelvic lymph nodes removed -- is this lymphadema? Has anyone else experienced this, and hopefully had it go away with time? Any tips and ticks on what I should do? Does ice help? Drinking extra water? Elevating legs? This is seriously bumming me out.

I had the "giggly tire" belly, too. It's started to go back to normal in the last few days. I also had some pelvic lymph nodes removed, but have not had any lymph edema. I have, however, had a numb spot at the top of my inner thigh that is driving me crazy. I called my doc about it and she said it was from the lymph node removal. I'd call my doc about the swollen leg just to be safe.
