TAH: One last visit from the hated aunt!

Had my pre-op today! Signed my life into his hands. Also started my LAST period I am in some pain right now, time for some ibuprofen! I am just excited it is 5 1/2 days until my trip to the castle! I am not questioning myself at all, I am so ready!

Just wish I was done with this last visit from the horrid aunt.

Counting down the days with excitement and anticipation! Now to get my big list of things done, not sure how that will happen now that I can't move!

Good luck and see you on the other side. I'm having mine on the 16th. Mine wanted one last long one too. Mine is on day 6 now, haha.

I got one last visit from good ole aunt flo before my surgery too. It just confirmed to me as to why I was having this done!

Ditto on 1 last "good" visit from Aunt Flo. This is day 6 for me, too, with signs of her going away anytime soon. Come on July 21!!!

I am suppose to have aunt flow visit me on Saturday. My surgery is the 30th of this month. I bet she will be a mean one this last time.

Ditto... waiting for mine to show her 'lovely' appearance for one last dreaded time before my July 15th surgery.....
Guess the universe figured I needed one last reminder that I am making the right decision!

Last day of my last period was yesterday and it was a bad one, yet the fear of surgery and the unknown are starting to overshadown Aunt Flo as if she were weeks ago. How fickle we are! Then again I know Aunt Flo - she and I go way back while me and surgery haven't met yet. Hmmmm.
Wonder if she'll try to visit again before the 26th??? Wouldn't put it past her........ you know how she can be Ladies!!!

I had 3 periods between the time I was scheduled and my actual procedure (7/13). So glad they are over with!

If you are just 5 days away from your surgery, can you take ibuprofen? I was given a strict list of things I cannot take 7 days prior to surgery and ibuprofen is on it and a big no no.

Just wondering.
