Re: Best Wishes to our August 24 Princesses

Had pre-op appt last Wed and was relieved that I can have the less invasive procedure and don't have to do bowel prep. I truly was dreading that possibility. My hubby has made sure everything is ready for me and just have a little packing left and another day of work before heading to the castle. Anxious to have it done and over with.

Re: Best Wishes to our August 24 Princesses

Thank You!!! It's so crazy that the big day is almost here. Had my pre-op today, picked my mom up from the airport, scrubbed my kitchen floor one last time... tomorrow - last minute shopping! No bowel prep for me either and I even get to eat up until midnight Tuesday night - phew! See you on the other side!

Re: Best Wishes to our August 24 Princesses

I called the hospital after 3pm to find out what time I have to be there. I have to be there at 6:15. I guess Ill be going to bed early tonight. I'm so glad i have an early apt. My surgery must be on the the first ones. Since I probably won't be back on I just want to wish all the other princesses good luck with their surgeries tomorrow. See you on the other side!

Re: Best Wishes to our August 24 Princesses

Hello, fellow 8/24 princesses. We're almost there!!! YAY!!! I'm H minus 24 and counting!! Now confined to the house because of bowel prep. (oh, joy) I should be doing something productive, but I'm pretty worthless today. Can't focus, just want this to be over. More worried about getting a private room than the hysterectomy itself!!! Trying not to worry about the long wait at the hospital tomorrow -- arrive by 9:30 and surgery not until 3:30. Sigh.

Re: Best Wishes to our August 24 Princesses

So surgery in the morning. My husband picked today when I got home from work to pick a fight!!! SERIOUSLY??? I think he needed to freak out a little, he is more nervous than I am. I have NEVER had anything wrong with me and never even been put under, and he is really worried. I guess that is normal huh? But he is making me a nervous wreck because HE is a nervous wreck. Thank the LORD we were able to let the kids go ahead and spend tonight with their grandmothers. OHHHHH I hope I can get to some sleep tonight!!
