question about sex after surgery?

I have a question about sexual foreplay after surgery. Is it ok to have foreplay with your husband after surgery(of course only if you want to) that does not involve any intercourse but you may still have an orgasum. Can it hurt you when you are healing. I only had my uterus removed, so still have my cervic. I had a wonderful sex life before my this that took 15 years with my husband to finally reach. I really miss being intimate with him and was wondering if it is ok to have a orgasum , no intercourse included? I hope this isnt too straight forward of a question, I know so many women struggle with sex before and after their surgeries.
Thank you

question about sex after surgery?

I think it is ok. My doctor just stressed nothing in the vagina for 4 weeks. I am curious to see what other ladies have to say.

question about sex after surgery?

I, too, had just my uterus removed laparoscopically. Dr said no sex for about 4-6 weeks, but foreplay is alright. I have to say, that first orgasm was incredible. I was very worried before surgery about sexual reprecussions, but so far everything seems to be still functioning fine. I can't wait to actually have sex!!!!

question about sex after surgery?

ohh so glad to hear that, but would love to hear more from others who have been through this. I like my doctor but I had only seen him once before my surgery because the woman doc I had left the office. So of course I am a little shy about some question, why I dont know. I think I more worried about offending him, he is a very kind man and is muslum. Even though I sure he has probually seen and heard it all.

question about sex after surgery?

Glad to hear other women have the same thoughts. I too had an orgasm last week but no actual intercourse and I was worried sick. Nothing happened-I just feel guilty. Hopefully this is ok.

question about sex after surgery?

I finally got the okay from my dr yesterday, and trust me, my husband and I are making up for lost time. We played around a little bit but we didn't have actual intercourse until yesterday. It was good then, and even better now. Sex without the pain and discomfort is awesome. Life is good. The big O''s are better, stronger, even without the cervix. The only concern I had is that it's tight, like I'm a virgin or something. I think it's going to take a few times for things to get back to normal. DH can't go in too deep right now. We're going to have fun making it better though.

Had sex first time last night. It was great. Also, I think it helps with insomnia. Nothing hurt. Didn't go deep. Orgasms galore. Thanks dh. Lots of foreplay in the last couple of weeks. Evething ok.
