dVH/RALH: Hugs to all of you...I was so scared!

I'm going in on the 18th for DaVinci as well. And, my surgeon has warned me that my fibroid may be too big to be removed vaginally (tight pubis bones) so I might get an abdominal cut too. I'm having it all removed uterus, cervix, both ovaries. My mom died of ovarian cancer so this is my opportunity to avoid that path...but I'm freaked out too. It was a long hard road to this point. I am exercising alot, doing yoga and meditating. My mantra is: I will not let fear and sadness keep me from doing what's best for my health. I will transform this pain, fear and trauma into love, abundance and creativity. Think of yourself well on the other side. Everyone keeps telling me that I'll feel so much better after healing from the surgery I am looking forward to being well. Good luck!

Me too! Er..three? I'm going in on the 19th and am nervous as can be. I bet this time next week we'll be grateful it's done and that we are moving to a more comfortable future Good luck, friend!
