incision pulling 5 weeks post op

Sisters:

I am moving slowly and doing no lifting or straining. I feel the pulling and itching of the incision. I know each day gets better but, how much longer? I've notice one incision already healing really well and almost unnoticeable.
I order the swelly belly band and I sure hopes this works. It's been a blessing to read all the stories, I've learned a lot, this is life changing after hysterectomy.

Thanks for reading...

Re: incision pulling 5 weeks post op

I am 2 months post op and still feel some itching. The nerves that were cut are starting to come alive again and that can cause itching.
I do not feel any pulling since my staples were taken out but if you have disolvable stitches this may be that they not all disolved and it is causing some pulling.
